Storms rolled through San Antonio as promised Tuesday, knocking out power for thousands early Wednesday Morning.
The next round of weather is forecast to come through Wednesday night into Thursday morning
According to our TV Partner News 4 San Antonio, storm chances ramp up significantly as deeper moisture returns and additional storm clusters develop. Some of these storms may become slow-moving or repeat over the same areas, which is where the flooding concern really comes into focus.
Thursday is shaping up as a much wetter day as well.
Expect mostly cloudy skies with a 70% chance of rain. High temperatures will be slightly cooler, reaching 80 to 84 degrees, with south winds at 7 to 14 miles per hour.
Morning showers and thunderstorms will be possible, followed by additional rounds developing later in the day. With repeated storm activity, localized flooding becomes a real concern, especially in areas that see multiple waves of heavy rain track over the same locations.
The weather is not expected to clear up until Memorial Day.
