Democrats Push Candidate With Nazi Tattoo In New Hypocritical Predicament

The Democrats have long exposed themselves as hypocrites, especially since President Trump has come back into office. They claim to care about women's rights, then vote to let men into women's locker rooms. They claim to care about the middle class, then say on camera their first priority is illegal aliens. Their latest one, though, might be their greatest bit of hypocrisy yet.

For years, Democrats have called any Republican a Nazi. It has not just been President Trump, though he has received a disproportionate amount of being called that. They said the same though about George W. Bush. Basically, anything for the last 20 years the Democrats disagree with is "Nazi" to them. But now, low and behold, the Democrats are supporting a candidate in Maine that bears a Nazi-related tattoo.

That would be Maine Democrat Senate candidate Graham Platner, the liberals hope to unseat current Republican Senator Susan Collins in that state. Platner in 2007, while serving in the Marines, got a skull and crossbones tattoo on his chest. That is not necessarily a bit deal, but the orientation of it resembled the Totenkopf, a symbol historically used by the Nazi SS. He has stated he was unaware of the connection, and honestly, you can give a slight mulligan for that. We have all done thing without thinking in our 20s. He has since covered that with another Celtic-related tattoo.

Really, any tattoo should not be much of a talking point. It is really not a huge deal. The big deal here is the issue with the hypocrisy. They blasted War Secretary Pete Hegseth for having a tattoo they believed was Nazi related, which turned out to be religious. All to turn around and be totally fine with a candidate that had a tattoo that had alleged Nazi links.

Amy Curtis with TownHall.com says this is their hypocrisy on full display, all for the desire of power.

"They see no problem with this...they have switched this position on a dime because they want to win the Senate...and they will do whatever it takes to do that," she says.

That is nothing new, we have known that about the Democrat party for a long time. They will do just about anything to keep their power. But one has to find humor in the complete 180-degree turn.

"The things they have embraced are so out of touch with the average American that people do not believe it is real," says Curtis. "It seems almost like a bad SNL skit, that Democrats would call Trump a Nazi for a decade, then embrace a guy with Nazi insignia on his body...but that is where we are, that is the current state of politics."

They are showing their hand to the point that it almost feels calculated. Chaos can cause confusion, especially among an American voter base that lacks critical thinking skills. But that can also be their undoing when it comes to November.

People are getting to see on a grand scale how far into insanity the party has gone. There are videos just recently from Michigan State Senator Mallory McMorrow openly comparing Trump to Nazis. While her party show support for Platner. There is no reversing track on this one for them, either. Because those videos and tweets on the internet live forever.

"There is a plethora of evidence that shows this is what Democrats have said, this is what they believe...and apparently that now includes endorsing a Nazi sympathizer," Curtis says.

Guess for Democrats, it is fine to be a hypocrite.
