1 Body Pulled From San Pedro Creek During High-Water Rescue

One man, who has yet to be identified, has been killed as a result of high waters at the San Pedro Creek.

Rescuers where called around 9:30 A.M., and where able to pull the man from the creek, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Flash Flood Warning has been extended until 3 p.m. on Friday. A Flood Watch is in effect until 9pm.

This watch covers counties along the Highway 90 corridor and north and includes Wilson County. Counties further south are not included in this watch. There is the potential for 2-4 inches of rain in some spots. You can track the current radar HERE.

Bexar County announced the following parks are closing today due to flooding concerns:

  • - Woodlake Park
  • - Rodriguez Park
  • - Raymond Russell Park

In addition to the risk of flooding, a few storms with hail and gusts over 50 mph will be possible. You can track any potential power outages HERE.

The storm system is expected to move along east by Friday evening with cooler temperatures. Don't get too used to it, though. We are in for a warming trend next week
