Tens Of thousands Of Dead Voters Still On North Carolina Roles

North Carolina’s State Board of Elections has found that roughly 34,000 dead North Carolinians are still active on their voter rolls. This discovery comes as Republicans across the United States continue to push for stronger election security measures nationwide.

Breitbart News reports that the number was “higher” than officials expected, and Representative Mark Harris (R-NC) called out the discovery in a post on X, saying: “This isn’t a mistake—it’s a failure.”

Zach Kraft, a spokesperson with the Republican National Committee, warned that this creates a dangerous opportunity for fraud. “Any tight race in any House district across the country will be decided by razor-thin margins. Potentially hundreds, or just a few thousand, of voters,” he said.

Opportunities for fraud like this are why members of the GOP in Congress have been pushing for the SAVE Act to finally be passed through the Senate and on to President Trump’s desk. “Any time there is an opportunity to cheat, someone will take advantage of it and try to cheat,” Kraft said. “The best way to prevent that is to pass the SAVE Act and leave no room for doubt.”

Kraft also pointed out that if something like this can happen by the tens of thousands in North Carolina, chances are it’s happening in other parts of the country as well, so a national move like the SAVE Act is the only way to prevent it.
