According to reporting from Fox News, Vice President J.D. Vance will be attending policy meetings at the White House today.

This comes as Vance is also expected to lead negotiations with Iran, either today or tomorrow, in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Vance recently led Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff in negotiations that fell through earlier this month.

It remains unclear when exactly the next round of talks will begin, but they are expected to start today or tomorrow.

Tomorrow, the two-week ceasefire in the Strait of Hormuz — which Iran has already violated multiple times — is set to expire.

President Trump has stated that he expects a "great deal" to be struck, but has also warned that Iranian power plants and bridges could be targeted and destroyed if a deal is not reached.
