The NBA is getting called out after the Chicago Bulls released Guard Jaden Ivey, for his social media post that the left's 'pride month' is unrighteous. So much for free speech.
"There's especially -not- free speech for Christians, because there is still this left-wing woke orthodoxy when it comes to LGBTQ" said Brianna Lyman, reporter with The Federalist, "And if you try and stray from what they say is ok, you will be met with repercussions."
As Lyman notes in her column, that is not the case if you are a player convicted of domestic violence, DWI, or even drug trafficking.
"You can be a wife beater in the NBA, you can sell and do drugs, be a wife beater and sell drugs, you can do all of those things, and those are not fireable offenses" Lyman told KTRH, "But professing your Christian faith is a fireable offense."
It's yet another example of the left's hypocrisy, and many double standards.
"The fact that Ivey has been punished for his Christianity, is the biggest problem of all" noted Lyman.
Not a good look for the league, on this Good Friday.
