As the debate continues over the 'SAVE America Act', more conservatives are calling out Republican Senators to do more, and fight harder to get it passed.
That includes, a former Senate staffer, Rachel Bovard, who says the GOP needs to make it a "fistfight".
"The urgency of this cannot be understated" said Aaron Evans, president of Winning Republican Strategies, "Maybe not a fistfight, per se, but it definitely needs to be something that is top priority. This is not politics as usual, I mean there's no piece of legislation right now that is more important to the future of our country."
And not only the future of our nation, but also the future of the GOP.
"If we can't pass this, the American people are going to be asking this November why the heck do we need a Republican majority to begin with?" Evans told KTRH, "And if that's the case, there's going to be real electoral repercussions."
The bottom line is, the Republicans have the majority in the Senate. They need to find a way to get this done. Period.
"We've seen a lot of politics as usual, and we've seen a lot of excuses, but ultimately we need bold leadership happening to ensure that this gets passed" noted Evans.
He credits Louisiana Senator, John Kennedy for trying to step up, and lead the fight. Sadly, some Republican Senators really are RINO's.
