At a press conference this morning, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced that major progress has been made in our attacks on Iran and indicated that there will be more major actions sometime today.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, he said: “Today will be, yet again, our most intense day of strikes inside of Iran. The most fighters, the most bombers, the most strikes, intelligence more refined and better than ever.”
He also highlighted the progress we’ve already made when it comes to crippling Iran’s offensive capacity, saying the last 24 hours have seen the lowest number of missiles out of Iran yet.
Hegseth went on to insist that this campaign will not be like the forever wars of the past, but rather a decisively executed campaign with specific goals. Hegseth did not clarify how long the United States expects to be involved in the strikes, saying instead that POTUS “gets to control the throttle.”
