Thune & GOP Establishment Fight Harder For Worthless Cornyn Than SAVE Act

While establishment Republicans continue to fight behind the scenes to try and save Texas Senator John Cornyn, many are wondering where is the GOP fight for the 'SAVE Act'?

Sadly, it's just another reminder that the D.C. swamp is alive and well.

"An ingroup that just maintains itself" said Andrea Widburg, editor at American Thinker, "When push comes to shove, it's all uniparty."

Thankfully, President Trump is still trying to fight it.

"Trump is trying desperately to break through that, by calling majority leader John Thune's bluff on the speaking filibuster" Widburg told KTRH, "He's taken a huge step in that direction."

And it's a step that needs to be taken, because the SAVE Act needs to be passed.

"Nothing is more important in a fragmented country, where everybody is worried about cheating, then to enact the SAVE Act so that people believe in the validity of our elections" noted Widburg, "If people don't believe in elections, everything else is just performative."

In the meantime, the swamp show continues in Washington.
