According to reporting from both The New York Post and Fox News Digital, a meeting of top Iranian officials was targeted by the Israeli Air Force.
These officials were reportedly gathering to elect a replacement for Ayatollah Khamenei, who was killed at the beginning of Operation Epic Fury last weekend.
The 88 officials were meeting in the city of Qom and were hit by an airstrike, supposedly as they were counting the votes for the next Supreme Leader of Iran.
Fox News Digital reports indicate that the Israelis believe they’ve killed a number of the Iranian officials, but exact numbers have not been reported.
