Deep State Not Going Away As DHS Secretary Finds Spyware On Devices

The concept of the deep state here in America has been around for decades. Essentially, there are people behind the curtain, not involved in politics even, who pull the strings in the country. Like puppeteers, they put on a show in Washington, keeping their eye on government employees and regular citizens alike. If you hoped maybe the deep state would retreat a bit under President Trump, it has not yet.

Just recently, a bombshell report was released that showed the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) spied on current-FBI Director Kash Patel, and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles in 2022 and 2023. All while they were still private citizens. However, in the words of the late and great Bily Mays, "but wait, there's more!"

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said last week that members of her own department secretly installed spyware on government-issued devices used by Trump administration officials. That included her phone and laptop, which allowed staffers to record meetings and monitor internal communications. Outside technology analysts examined the hardware and flagged the suspicious activity.

Political commentator Jerome Corsi says this affirms one thing; the deep state is going nowhere.

"I think it will take the last two years of the Trump administration to make any progress," he says. "They key issue is we need to have election integrity by the midterms."

Secretary Noem says they are investigating, but this is not the first time she has suggested a traitor in the ranks. Just last month, she announced the department would be issuing polygraphs to find employees leaking information about ICE raids.

But securing election integrity remains the most important part. The deep state, in theory, can play its role in elections. From dead people voting in elections, to even foreign influence, we have a big of a national security issue on our hands.

"These machines can transmit our data to foreign nations, so they can interfere in our elections, China being the main culprit," says Corsi. "This interference is such that the American people, correctly believe, the Democrats can only win by cheating...we have a national emergency."

President Trump has been urging Congress to pass the Save Act to enact Voter ID laws. But Democrats have fought tooth and nail against it, calling it akin to "Jim Crow 2.0." Which is just absurd as an analogy itself. But toss in the fact that 83-percent of Americans, including 71-percent of Democrats, are in favor of the Save Act.

Yet Democrats refuse to do anything about it. There is only one reason they would not want this, and that is because it would nuke the ability to have illegals vote or write in a mail-in ballot from someone who has been dead for 15 years.

So, Trump actually has authority in this situation to bypass Congress altogether.

"Under the National Security Act, signed by President Ford in 1976, President Trump can sign an executive order to demand voter ID, proof of citizenship, even hand counting of the ballot results in public," Corsi says.

He adds he believes Trump is ready to take executive action on this soon, especially if Congress fails to pass the Save Act.

But all of it just goes to show, the deep state has not gone anywhere, and it is not going anywhere anytime soon.
