Red States Struggling To Deliver Pro-American History In Public Schools

Despite all of the progress that President Trump has made in restoring education in our nation, a new report from The Federalist found that red states are still struggling to deliver on promises of pro-American history in public schools.

And that includes, right here, in the state of Texas.

"Texas has been doing a lot of really wonderful, and absolutely important things that are leading the rest of the nation on education, but a lot more needs to happen" said Joy Pullman, executive editor for The Federalist.

So why is this happening? What's the problem?

"Leftist's really control education at all levels at this point, even in Republican controlled states" Pullman told KTRH, "They're able to really delay, water down, and damage really pro-America reforms."

Case in point, the Texas 'Bluebonnet' curriculum, that the left continues to fight and oppose.

"Even though Texas has of course, the Republican State Board of Education, they've been working on and really struggling to get through, an update to their history and to their social studies curriculum since 2022" noted Pullman.

As Pullman points out in her report, the Texas Council for the Social Studies, which is a chapter of the DEI-promoting NCSS, is attempting to neuter Texas’ in-development history curriculum reforms.

So the fight is not over. Parents in Texas need to get involved, and lawmakers will need to do more in the next legislative session.
