DOJ Investigating Gov. Tim Walz, Minneapolis Mayor For ICE Obstruction

It might be wintertime, but the water continues to get hotter in Minnesota.

The Department of Justice is reportedly investigating Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. That investigation centers around their efforts at obstruction federal law enforcement, according to multiple news outlets.

One official says the investigation mostly centers on statements the two have made about ICE agents being deployed to the state.

Walz has repeatedly called ICE "racist," and Mayor Frey has told ICE to "get the f***out of our city."

Protests in Minneapolis have continues all week. They began in the wake of ICE shooting and killing Renee Good, who attempted hitting an ICE agent with her vehicle. Another illegal alien was also shot, after he and two others attacked an agent with snow shovels.
