If Venezuela Continues to Ship Sanctioned Oil; The US Will Intervene

President Trump says he is willing to seize more oil tankers off the coast of Venezuela. The news comes after the US military forces seized an oil tanker that had allegedly transported oil to Iran.

“This is Black Market Oil that Venezuela is continuing to sell. We will not allow that. We need to keep oil prices where they are, this causes oil prices to go up as well.” VP of Operations with Trevino Resources and Energy Expert, Rey Trevino said.

President Trump’s message is clear, the United States is a force, and the Venezuelan government needs to stop doing what they are doing, the Energy Expert says, because that oil is illegally sold, due to sanctions placed on Venezuela oil.

Trevino says just 30 years ago, Venezuela was one of the top tourists’ countries in the world, along with a thriving economy. “Once they chose to have Communism and Socialism to run their country, it is now one of the poorest countries. They must rely on things like the oil- running it through the black market, as well as crooked deals with drug cartels to continue for a horrible regime like the Maduro regime to steal from their people and continue to get rich.” Trevino said.

The energy expert adds, that if the oil is sold on the black market, it will likely end up in the pockets of leaders from Iran, China, and Russia, and would in turn, spike the price of oil on a global scale.

Trevino says the US wants to work with countries that promote capitalism and have democracies, and democratic elections- where the people get to choose their leaders through elections, unlike Nicolas Maduro- who was self-appointed. In addition, working with allies in South and Central America, especially since these countries are in our backyard.
