Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene Announces Resignation

The drama between President Trump and congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green appears to be over.

The Georgia representative on Friday night announced she is resigning from congress at the beginning of 2026.

In a video posted on social media, Greene ripped her colleagues on Capitol Hill, saying "she's always been committed to representing common Americans, but has recognized that nothing gets better for them no matter which way the political pendulum swings."

Her resignation comes after a public feud with President Trump over her backpedaling and supporting of releasing the Epstein files. Trump called her a "traitor" recently.

She says her last day in Congress will be January 5th, 2026.

The loss is a big one though for the Republicans on the logistical front. They will now need to fill her seat to maintain their House majority.
