As the political divide in our country continues to widen, some conservatives are calling on Republicans to step up their game, and meet the moment.
"I think that for the longest time, a lot of people on our side have thought that it's still the 1980's, or maybe even the 90's" said political writer Nathan Stone, who shared his thought at The Federalist.
It is not the 80's or 90's, and it is no longer just a disagreement, an argument, or even a debate. The Democrats are playing for keeps, and Republicans need to respond accordingly.
"The left has made no bones that as soon as they get the majority back, it's going to be non-stop investigations, and they're not going to pass any legislation" Stone told KTRH, "It's not going to end when President Trump leaves the White House."
But, before the GOP can win the war for America, they first need to realize that they are in one.
