DHS: Over Two Million Illegal Aliens Have Left The U.S. To Go Home

Despite all of the anti-ICE attacks from the left, The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that more than 2 million illegal aliens have returned to their home countries.

"This is a very sharp drop-off that has never happened before that we can find in the data" said Jessica Vaughan, policy director for the Center for Immigration Studies, "We believe that it is taking place because of the enforcement efforts undertaken by the Trump administration."

According to DHS, more than 527,000 illegal aliens have been removed under President Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, which is a new record.

But what might be even more surprising is that 1.6 million illegals have voluntarily self-deported.

"This is happening at a very significant scale" Vaughan told KTRH, "If this is kept up, we will see a very noticeable decline in the illegal population within just a year or two."

The bottom line is, after 4 years of a wide open border, the first year of Trump's clean up is going really well.

"Tougher enforcement at the border and in the interior of the country, with strong messaging about enforcing the laws, is most definitely causing people to leave on their own" noted Vaughan.

It's what the American people voted for.
