High Costs In Green Energy States Proving Trump's Energy Policy Right

The green, renewable energy push has been going on for multiple decades now, and numerous states have bought into the idea. In theory, it is a decent thought. Wind and solar power can help relieve the stress on natural gas and provide more options for power. Climate crazies will tell you it is all about the environment, but do not be fooled. None of what renewable energy does it helpful for the environment.

Many far-Left liberal states like California and Massachusetts have taken the reins of the movement. California has taken aggressive, borderline reckless measures, to ban construction of new gas stations, among other things. All of it as some giant virtue signal to the world, trying to prove they are pure and righteous. Really, they push this green energy because there is tons of money from subsidies in the field.

But as a result, citizens in those states are staring down sky-high energy prices. After being told that renewables were the future and they would bring costs down. Another lie from a movement that is as blissfully ignorant as it is clueless.

David Holt of the Consumer Energy Alliance says wind and solar only provide intermittent power. That causes prices to surge when demand does.

"You have to have baseload power you can ramp up...wind and solar do not provide that," he says. "That is really natural gas, and very soon, nuclear."

President Trump has been clear that natural gas and nuclear power will have a place in American energy. All of it is part of his plan to not only bring back American energy dominance, but to bring costs down for Americans.

This renewable surge has done nothing in these areas but cause energy price concerns. People are paying extraordinary amounts of money for power in California, and their grid is still as unreliable as any in the world. That falls directly back on Democrat policies.

"When you ban or restrict natural gas...or limit the ability to add new pipelines or transmission lines...you are restricting power usage, and creating a situation where prices go up, and power becomes less reliable," Holt says.

None of this renewable green push has had any benefits. If anything, it has hurt people more than helped. It has also hurt the environment more than it has helped. Sure, green energy has its place in the world. But it cannot be a main source of power, it is just not feasible.

Especially as the U.S. population grows along with technology.

"We want to make sure families and business have enough power, while we ramp up new power resources, to power the AI revolution," says Holt.

Holt adds that states like California are the prime example of what not to do.
