Will Democrat Infighting Carry Over To Next Year's Midterms?

With Democrats approval ratings still at all-time lows, it appears the Dems infighting is only getting worse. Case in point, New York where Brooklyn natives Chuck Schumer & Hakeem Jeffries have refused to endorse socialist Zohran Mamdani for mayor.

"What you're seeing now is the breakdown of their collectivism, they're not wired for that and it is frying their circuits and causing division that they've never had to handle before" said Andrea Widburg, political commentator at editor at American Thinker.

It's unique because Mamdani's is really just a Democrat in name only.

"They're discovering that they have a tiger by the tail, because Mamdani stands ultimately for Islam" Widburg told KTRH, "No matter what else he says, while he plays the communist card, it is his base. And what they're also discovering is that he has no loyalty."

But with that said, expect the Democrats to come together for the midterms. Just like they always do.

"One of the things about Democrats that's always been their great power, is party unity. They are by nature collectivists" noted Widburg, who pointed out that while New York Governor Kathy Hochul endorsed Mamdani, he refused to do the same for her.
