A total of 17 people were injured on Wednesday after a school bus rolled over near Sandy Creek.
That happened on Nameless Road, where the Leander ISD school bus rolled over when entering a curve in the road. In all, 42 children were on the bus at the time, plus the bus driver.
Eleven children and the bus driver were taken to the hospital immediately after the crash. Others were transported there after the fact. Two sustained serious injuries, but all were said to be in stable condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
