The threat of new flooding is putting search efforts on hold in the area ravaged by the July 4 floods.

Volunteer search parties have been alerted to beware of flood danger. Resources and equipment are being moved out of low elevations because of potential flooding. After a morning of new heavy showers, the Guadalupe river was expected to rise back above flood stage in some areas.
