Karmelo Anthony, the teenager accused of killing Austin Metcalf at a track meet in Frisco, has been turned into a hero by the radical left. So, will Austin be able to get justice through a fair trial for his killer?
Unfortunately, based on what we have seen recently from the courts, it doesn’t look like it. Anthony already had his bond reduced from $1,000,000 to just $250,000, resulting in him being released from jail and placed under house arrest. But that’s just the beginning.
The radical left and the mainstream media have also rallied behind Anthony, making a fair trial unlikely. The American Thinker’s Olivia Murray said, "Obviously these jurors have homes and families, and nobody trusts the left to not leak and dox, and that’s what they do best. This guerilla warfare."
Murray also pointed to the racial element of this case, saying that the left wanted to turn this into another "BLM" moment. She said, "You have race baiters who have whipped up such a substantial portion of the public into this kind of frenzied entitlement."
She went on to say that, "It’s probably just indicative of this agenda that’s been pushed in the mainstream media that you’re entitled to act out in violence because of this perceived '1619 history' of America."
And of course, all of this follows the news that the Anthony family has used the hundreds of thousands of dollars raised by a GiveSendGo campaign to move into a home worth nearly $900,000. They also reportedly purchased a new car.
