In a new survey that should come as no surprise, three-quarters of the rogue federal judges who are challenging the actions of president Donald Trump, were appointed by Democrats.
"What you're seeing I think in these numbers is what Congress has been talking about, which is venue shopping or judge shopping" said John Solomon, editor and chief at Just The News.
And while many wonder why this is still happening, Solomon says the U.S. Supreme Court stepping in on the case involving judge Boasberg, may finally stop it.
"That sent shockwaves through the court systems" Solomon told KTRH, "And I think judges going forward are going to be a little bit more reserved now, even if they're blue judges in Democrat cities because of the wet towel delivered to judge Boasberg."
The U.S. House recently passed legislation that would block federal judges from issuing nationwide injunctions.
"The Supreme Court sent a pretty powerful message in the way that they slapped down and dealt with judge Boasberg's ruling" noted Solomon, "Because he was penalized pretty hard. The case should have been brought to Texas."
That legislation is now in the hands of the U.S. Senate.
