President Donald Trump became the first sitting President in history to attend the Super Bowl.
Trump got a standing ovation from the crowd in New Orleans. In contrast to Taylor Swift, who was booed out of the building.
After the game, Trump took his shot at Swift, who campaigned against him and for Kamala Harris last year, posting, "The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!"
The game had a moment of political protest as well. During halftime, a Pro-Palestinian protester ran onto the field with a flag, and was arrested.
The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 to win their second ever Lombardi Trophy. The win prevented the Chiefs from becoming the first team in history to win three straight Super Bowls. Houston area native Jalen Hurts was named Super Bowl MVP after throwing for two touchdowns and running for another.
The win led to chaos on the streets in Philadelphia. You can watch some of the videos below.
