A new poll has ranked Joe Biden as the worst president in the last 50 years. He's been ranked below both Jimmy Carter and even Richard Nixon. His inflation record could end up making him the most unpopular president ever.

Newsmax contributor Jeffrey Lord told KTRH, "Biden could have avoided this. He said, 'You don't spend your way out of inflation; you have to cut back spending. He did the exact opposite, and inflation took off. This wasn't rocket science.'"

Unfortunately, that inflation will probably be around to remind America of Joe Biden's tenure for years to come. He said, "This is just not going away any time soon. And it's sticky, applying to just about everything here: groceries, the price of eggs, etc."

Lord thinks that over time, as the full inflationary effect of Biden's presidency is felt, he'll likely become even less popular. He also said that Biden's presidency could have kneecapped the Democratic Party long term. He says Republicans will be able to campaign against the Biden economy for years to come.

That could very well be a winning strategy for the GOP. Economist Steve Moore recently said on Fox News that 68% of Americans say the American economy is headed in the wrong direction, and that's why Trump was able to perform so well with low-income voters.

Moore added that he thinks Biden will go down as one of the worst presidents in American history.
