The new chairman of the Texas Republican Party says he believes moderate voters will accept the party's conservative platform. The state GOP elected grassroots activist Abraham George at last month's convention in San Antonio to head the party for the next two-years. George says his top priority will be mending fences between the party's factions ahead of the November general election. George was 16 when he moved to the United States from India with his family.
