Cruz, Allred Both Report Raising $9M+ For Senate Race

Republican Senator Ted Cruz and his Democratic challenger are each reporting more than nine-million-dollars in campaign contributions in the first quarter of 2024. Cruz is running for his third term in Washington, and says his campaign raised $9.7 million. Representative Colin Allred is a three-term Dallas congressman who's making his first run for statewide office, and reports a haul of 9.5 milion. Both campaigns reported their fundraising totals ahead of the Federal Election Commission's finance reporting deadline later this month.
