VIA To Allow Riders To Bring Electronic Bikes On Buses

VIA Transit is now allowing passengers to bring their own electronic bikes onto the bus. The company says e-bikes are allowed on racks inside and outside of VIA buses, same as regular bicycles. The bikes must be turned off, and the batteries have to remain installed and not be recharging. Only personally owned bikes will be allowed on board, and not commercially owned e-bikes or rentals.
