A new state agency will work to make sure Texas leads the field in space exploration. Gov. Greg Abbott announced the members of the Texas Space Commission during a visit to NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston on Tuesday. Last year, the Texas Legislature passed House Bill 3447, which created the Texas Space Commission. Its nine-member board includes former astronauts and several Houstonians.
