Families of the Uvalde, Texas school shooting's victims are outraged by a report from a consultant hired by the city who found no wrongdoing by police. Former Austin police detective Jesse Prado said Uvalde officers and the Uvalde ISD police correctly followed procedures the day of the deadly shooting at Robb Elementary School and shouldn't be held accountable. The report did point out failures and did give recommendations but ultimately found no policy violations by Uvalde Police during the response to the Uvalde massacre that left 19 children and two teachers dead. A report from the Justice Department found law enforcement had failed and that the police should have stopped the gunman sooner.
