A San Antonio company has funding from NASA to build structures on the moon and maybe Mars. Astroport Space Technologies is developing methods to build lunar infrastructure for when manned missions return there, possibly within a few years. The company has received more than $2 million from NASA this year to develop a means of making bricks out of moon dust. Astroport's first experiment on the surface of the moon is tentatively scheduled for 2026.
