San Antonio is extending its city limits in January to take in more than 4,000 acres on the South Side. City council voted on Thursday to approve the annexation of 133 agricultural properties the city has had its eye on for ten-years. The landowners had earlier signed non-annexation agreements with the city, but those agreements expire on January 19th. The 100-or-so people living on the properties will have access to city services such as fire, police, and trash pickup, but they'll also be subject to city ordinances and taxes.
