As Bernie spoke to his supporters at a rally in Carson City, Nevada one woman rose up to snatch the mic away from him and take over the podium.
She said “Bernie I'm your biggest supporter and I'm here to ask you to stop propping up the dairy industry and stop propping up animal agriculture.”
The woman’s mic was cut off then two topless women jumped on stage. They had the words “let dairy die” written on their body as they poured fake blood on themselves from milk carton.
Newsweek reports that the group responsible for the stunt put out a statement after the event calling on Bernie to "stop propping up the dairy industry, which relies on the abuse of female cows."
