Biden Autopen Investigation Time Is Over, Now It Is Time To Prosecute

The scandal of the Biden Administration's use of the autopen has been all the rage on Capitol Hill the last several months. Now for preface, an autopen is not the bad thing. Many Presidents utilize it as a way of easily signing multiple things. The problem comes in with Biden because he was not the one using the autopen, it was inf act staffers and other members of the party calling the shots.

This is not some unfounded conspiracy, either. There is substantial proof coming out from the investigation by the House Oversight Committee that this was not only done while Biden was in the White House, but in the midst of his rapid mental decline, he had no idea on what he was singing his name. He even said so in an interview, when asked about his order to stop the production of liquified natural gas. Biden said, point blank, he did not do that. Yet there is a document, with his autopen signature.

That includes the blanket pardons he issued, and many of his reckless executive orders. As the investigation continues unearthing more shocking things every day, the time for simply investigating has come to an end. It is time to begin prosecuting those responsible. Matt Kittle of The Federalist says was a blatant disregard of the American political institution.

"That is an absolute violation of the Constitutional idea of one person, one vote, one individual elected to serve at the Commander-in-Chief," he says.

Most of this was done out of "concern," if you want to call it that, by the Democrat party. Some would call it a blatant coup. Either way, they saw the mental and cognitive decline of Biden and took things into their own hands. No matter what you think is right or wrong, that is illegal. It also puts any actions he made as President in jeopardy and could destroy the "legacy" of Bidens they so vehemently defend.

The investigation has found a stark contract in Biden's use of the autopen versus other presidents. The use of the pen dramatically increased as his cognitive decline advanced. While he was physically in Washington when the autopen was used, for about 82-percent of the autopen-signed documents, why not sign them by hand? That is what President Trump does, sharpie and all. Why use an autopen when you are physically able to sign them?

One of two things are on the table. One, he physically could not sign a piece of paper, meaning he was completely incapable of being the president in the first place. Two, someone else was doing the job for him with him simply present in the room, being governed by committee. That is where the problems come.

"Not only did they break the law...but in a number of cases, they were involved in what could be described as a soft coup...plus all of these bogus politically driven investigations...one might call them legal insurrections...all of this stuff is happening," says Kittle.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has said this case will rest with the DOJ. But there is enough there to begin indictments. The time for simple investigations is over. Now is the time to prosecute, or no one will ever learn a lesson.

If anyone can institute accountability, it is the Trump Administration.

"We have seen substantially more accountability, or at least the movement toward accountability under this administration," Kittle says.

He adds there is enough to indict now and it is the only way to nip this in the bud.
