In anticipation of the 53rd annual CMA Awards, we enlisted the help of co-host Carrie Underwood. We went to Nashville and set up a bunch of hidden cameras in a boot shop. When the customers came in, we had the staff ask a little about them and then Carrie Underwood gave them a surprise serenade in this Nashville edition of #UndercoverSing.
Carrie took part in a segment Jimmy calls “Undercover Sing,” and as shoppers came in to look at boots she was in the back finding out info about them, and then serenaded them with a personalized song, mostly to her hit “Before He Cheats.” She then came out and surprised the shoppers, and even got one guy to dance for free boots before he knew it was going to be Carrie picking up the tab for his footwear.
