Randy Travis Releases First Song In Six Years

While we’re all grateful that Randy Travis’ 2013 stroke didn’t take him from us, the loss of hearing new music from him has been rough for fans. Well, that wait is over…sort of. Randy has released “One In A Row,” his first new song in six years. And when you hear it – and surely love it – don’t get too lost in it. Turns out, the song is only new to us. The tune, which is appropriately about missing someone, was written by Buddy Jewell and Thom McHugh…and was recorded years before Randy’s health troubles. It just wasn’t widely released. Something Randy has been working on as he continues to fight on? His new memoir, “Forever and Ever, Amen.” He’s got a book tour rolling – and will have a booth at next month’s CMA Fest in Nashville.
