Charity McCurdy is a life long San Antonian who grew up on Randolph Air Force Base in Universal City as a military brat. She started her radio career in 2001, producing various shows on both News Radio 1200 WOAI and Ticket 760 before pursuing her passion for news. In 2008, she became the morning news anchor on "San Antonio's First News with Charlie Parker" where today she continues to bring listeners the latest headlines. Charity can also be heard in on iHeart radio stations across the state in markets such as Dallas, Houston and Corpus Christi. In 2009, Charity was named one of the San Antonio Business Journal’s ‘40 Under 40’ Honorees. When she's off the air, Charity enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children at their favorite San Antonio treasures; the Quadrangle at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio Zoo, Japanese Tea Garden and San Antonio Botanical Garden.
