Elon Musk has been credited for saving free speech in this country, and rightfully so. But thanks to a new report from the fine folks at MRC Free Speech America, we now know that X is still not playing fair with Republicans and Democrats.
"Are Republicans being suppressed? Are Democrats being boosted? Well, our study shows that Democrats are being boosted and Republicans are being de-boosted, and that's a major problem" said Michael Morris, director of the Media Research Free Speech America.
They decided to do their own study, and found that conservatives are still coming up short.
"Wouldn't you know, Democrats were being elevated, Republicans were being throttled" Morris told KTRH, "And overwhelmingly, the X algorithm appears to still be pushing Democrats, and de-boosting Republicans."
Which is not good, especially ahead of next year's midterms. So what is going on with Elon?
"We would encourage Mr. Musk to read our study, and he can do the search for himself using the same sort of metrics that we did and find out whether or not these sort of shenanigans that appear to be happening, are still happening on the platform."
Musk claims, "to the best of his knowledge" it is not happening, but that data shows otherwise. You can't blame for Democrat lackey Jack Dorsey for this one.
