Report: Tea Party Patriots Push SAVE Act To Stop Illegals From Voting

Hoping to help make election integrity finally become law, the Tea Party Patriots Action group is trying to help promote the SAVE Act.

"We are working to get the SAVE Act passed into law" said Jenny Beth Martin with TPPA, "It has already passed in the House of Representatives two different times, yet it continues to get stalled."

It continues to get stalled in the Senate, which is why the TPPA is traveling around the country trying to get the word out about what the SAVE Act is really all about.

"And people may be wondering, what is the SAVE Act" Martin said during an interview with KTRH, "It will require proof of citizenship to register to vote. Over 80% of Americans agree, including over 75% of Democrats and over 75% of independents."

It's not voter suppression as the left likes to claim, it's really election security and integrity. And that's why Democrats have been vehemently against it. It's the only way they can win.

"We are doing this tour to bring awareness to the issue, and that's the goal" noted Martin, "We want to get it passed into law, and to attach it to must-pass legislation to do so."

They are hoping that Congress will act on this asap.
