Following last week's deadly flooding, the Storm Water Management Advisory Board says it is making it a priority to prevent future flood-related deaths.

“Our committee is looking at where we fund,” Peter Onofre said. “I think this is going to be a priority because of the impact and the loss of life. I think it’s too early to say, but we are really looking to see how in the future we can prioritize these projects.”

The Storm Water Management Advisory Board says they will share future plans to prevent flooding in San Antonio at a later date. Meantime, a vigil for those that died is scheduled for Wednesday night.
