Early votes are showing a lead for Gina Ortiz Jones in the San Antonio mayoral race, but the number of votes counted so far is small and only represent early voting.
As of 8:30 pm, just 90 minutes after the polls closed, it's Jones at 52% versus Rolando Pablos at 48%.
Despite the "nonpartisan" nature of the mayoral election, Jones is a Democrat, Pablos is a Republican.
Perhaps the closest San Antonio City Council race is District 6, where Ric Galvan leads Kelly Ann Gonzalez 51% to 49%.
In the early voting for City Council District One it's Sukh Kaur with 64% versus Patty Gibbons at 36%.
District 8, Ivalis Meza Gonzalez has 57% of the vote versus Paula McGee's 43%
In District 9, Misty Spears is beating Angi Taylor Aramburu 57% to 43%.
