Two downtown residential developments have the approval from Bexar County Commissioners for county tax breaks. Commissioners voted to approve a ten-year, 40% tax break worth more than a million dollars on the developments for Oxbow Real Estate. Together, the two buildings will add 275 residential units to the Pearl area. An Oxbow executive told commissioners that the company will pay for pedestrian improvements along the San Antonio River, including landscaping, seating, and bridges to the River Walk.
