Michelin Guide Recognizes 13 San Antonio Restaurants

More than a dozen San Antonio restaurants are recognized in the Michelin Guide's first Texas edition. Mixtli, a Mexican restaurant in Southtown, was awarded one of the state's first Michelin stars. A total of 15 restaurants in Texas were awarded the prestigious star on Tuesday. Mixtli's bar director and sommelier also won the Outstanding Service Award. Five other San Antonio area restaurants received the Bib Gourmand designation, and seven more were chosen to be included in the Michelin Guide.

Cullum's Attaboy, The Jerk Shack, Ladino and Southerleigh Fine Food and Brewery all made the Michelin's Bib Gourmand Distinction.

Other local eateries also made Texas' 2024 most recommended list. Those include, 2M Smokehouse, Barbecue Station, Garcia's Mexican Food, Leche de Tigre, Little Em's Oyster Bar and Nicosi.
