Bexar County deputies are investigating after human bones were found in a field in the western part of the county on Tuesday. The property owners found the remains in a field on U.S. Highway 90 at Pue Road, a short distance inside Loop 1604. Sheriff Javier Salazar says they were cutting the grass near a ditch when they found a human skull. Salazar says the bones may have been there for a couple of years, based on their condition. The property owners say they cut the grass once a year, and didn't spot anything last time.
