Six proposed amendments to the San Antonio city charter are on the ballot next month. Mayor Ron Nirenberg put together a charter review commission, which came up with the proposed changes. The city council put the amendments onto the ballot, but San Antonio voters have the final say. Props A through F ask voters whether to pay city council members more and lengthen their terms, and whether to repeal voter-approved caps on the city manager's pay and tenure, among other changes.
