U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz and U.S. Rep. Colin Allred aren't holding back as Election Day nears. The Republican incumbent and his Democratic challenger met on Tuesday evening for their only likely debate before the November 5th election. Cruz blamed Allred for voting with Vice President Kamala Harris's open-border policies. Allred blamed Cruz for opposing a bipartisan border bill earlier this year. The two candidates also sparred over abortion and transgender rights.
