Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton wants the White House to provide data that would help identify up to half-a-million people who could be erroneously registered to vote in the state. He points to a ballooning voter roll, which experts say is not a bad thing. Mark Jones, who does polling for the University of Houston, says Texas' population is growing, and therefore its number of registered voters is growing. Jones says all the studies show that illegal immigrants are not voting in mass, like some Republicans claim. Paxton, who is a Republican, has repeatedly raised concerns about voter integrity ahead of the 2024 presidential election. Jones says there is no conspiracy by the left to register illegal immigrants
