A new elementary school born out of tragedy in Uvalde now has a name. School board members last night approved Legacy Elementary as the name for the new school that will open in the fall of next year. Legacy Elementary is roughly two miles away from Robb Elementary, where a gunman killed 19 children and two teachers in two years ago. The new school will include tributes to the victims. Meanwhile, yesterday the city of Uvalde released more videos that showed the response of law enforcement to the mass shooting. The videos were delayed in being made public in an agreement between the city and several Texas news organizations. The videos show the response by some 400 officers who were unable to breach the classroom where the 18-year-old gunman was armed with an assault rifle for an hour.
