Astros Swept By Tigers In AL Wild Card Series

The Astros saw their season come to an end at their home ballpark. Houston lost to the Detroit Tigers 5-2 in Game Two and were swept in the best-of-three series at Minute Maid Park. Jose Altuve and Jon Singleton each had an RBI in the team's final game of the year. Ryan Pressly was charged with the loss and blown save after he allowed three runs in relief. The AL West champions have now fallen short of the ALCS for the first time since 2016.
