A political action committee headed by San Antonio business leaders is supporting a series of proposed city charter amendments to the tune of more than $1 million. Renew SA announced earlier this month that it had started a campaign on September 10th in support of all six amendments. The proposed changes include pay raises for the mayor and city council, four-year city council terms, and removing voter-approved caps on the pay and tenure of the city manager. The proposed amendments are on the November ballot.
